Syrian Civilian Death Toll

Syrian Civilian Death Toll

This graphic is about a year old now. It was built back when we were all stunned by the violence that 12 months of civil war had wrought in Syria. It was designed to fill one broadsheet newspaper page. Each silhouette represents on single dead person. Children are in red. Worth noting - at just a shade over a year later, I would now need ten newspaper pages to show the extended civilian death toll in Syria today.
