Quakes is a Flash-based visualization of earthquake data recorded by the United States Geological Survey (USGS) and published on the data.gov platform. It depicts earthquakes with a magnitude of 2.5 or more on the Richter scale that occurred within the past seven days.

Christian Behrens has received his M.A. degree from the Interface Design program at Potsdam University of Applied Sciences in 2008. He works as a freelance interface designer and web developer in Berlin.
