As information designers and social media power users, we are constantly exploring new galaxies and metaphors to best visualize data.
With this mentality, we recently asked the question: Who is the biggest player in the location based landscape? Hint: itâs not one of the geosocial companies you hear mentioned in the daily tech press. As you will see from our infographic, the answer is: mobile. And email. They are what we really use regularly. They are the super-powers that new players like Foursquare and Gowalla are up against. Using Saturn vs. Pluto made a lot of sense to show the comparison.
