What does the data show?
The data gives insight to many aspects of healthcare in the US and reveals recent trends in the United States. Most notably, we observed that while the cost has been rapidly increasing, there has been a sharp decline in hospital discharges for normal pregnancy/ delivery coupled with a dramatic rise in birth complications.
