ColorSchemer Touch Analysis of Visual Correlation in Molecular Biological Data

We use ColorSchemer Touch, a free app from ColorSchemer for the iPod, iPhone, and iPad, to examine the complementary color scheme in the Visual Correlation in Molecular Biological Data study. Initial Visual Correlation in Molecular Biology Data study performed at the Scientific Computing and Imaging Institute (SCI) at the University of Utah. Published as: Visualizing Global Correlation in Large-Scale Molecular Biological Data
A.N.M. Choudhury, Kristin Potter, Theresa-Marie Rhyne, Yarden Livnat, Chris Johnson, Orly Alter, biovis 2011 abstract, http://www.biovis.net/2011/papers_abstracts/abstracts/120.html

Note: The Color Wheel in ColorSchemer Touch uses the Red,Yellow Blue (RYB) - Painters Subtractive Color Model to depict color schemes. In RYB Color Space, Purple and Green are not complementary colors. Our Purple and Green complementary colors scheme was built in the Red, Blue, Green (RGB) Additive Color Model for Lights. For RGB color space, Purple and Green are complementary colors.
