This visualization represents the various public transit services in the federal states of Berlin and Brandenburg according to the official schedule between May and December 2011. It includes subway (U-Bahn) and suburban rail (S-Bahn) services, all MetroNetz routes as well as tram and express bus services. Local and long-distance train services that run through the city are displayed as well.

The underlying dataset was published in the run-up to an Open Data hack day that was hosted by the Open Knowledge Foundation and the Berlin-Brandenburg Transit Authority (VBB) on November 29, 2012. It follows the General Transit Feed Specification (GTFS) standard and can be downloaded from the Open Data portal of the State of Berlin.
