I'm a post-doc researcher at Middlesex University, London. While my PhD was in visualising scientific data from astrophysics, for the past two years I've been working in the fields of information visualisation and visual analytics. In my previous role, I led Bangor's team in the VAST Challenge competition for 2010 and 2011, with our work gaining awards on both occasions, and also led the Data Journalism Group at Bangor University, investigating data sets related to current world issues and aiming to help evolve narrative through visualization. At Middlesex, I work in visual analytics (visualization, statistics and data mining) as part of the Interaction Design Centre.
